Law firms run their practice in Clio Manage and keep their corporate clients’ records somewhere else. Getting a registry search result or a stock certificate from one into the other usually means downloading it, renaming it and uploading it again.
MinuteBox now integrates with Clio Manage, so corporate documents land in the right matter automatically or in a couple of clicks. Registry search results, e-filing results, certificates and corporate record book exports go from MinuteBox into the client’s Clio matter. Corporate documents in the right Clio matter

Connect your Clio Manage account once, then choose “Send to Clio” on an e-filing, an entity’s corporate record book, its uploaded documents or a document export. You can send the whole corporate record book, selected sections or individual PDFs.
The matter picker is pre-filled with the matter number already recorded on the entity. You can also search your Clio matters by matter number, name or client. You confirm the destination matter before anything is sent.
Documents upload into a “MinuteBox” folder in the Clio matter’s documents, with upload progress shown in MinuteBox. There is no downloading, renaming or re-uploading between systems.
- For corporate clerks: send a filing confirmation and certificate to the client’s matter as soon as they come back from the registry.
- For lawyers: find the client’s search results and corporate records in the Clio matter you already work from.
Search and file, then send it to Clio
MinuteBox Registry Services handles corporate due diligence searching across the United States and Canada, including Certificates of Good Standing, lien searches and more. Order a search or complete a filing from one place, then send the returned documents to the client’s Clio matter. Corporate clerks spend less time on registry portals and more time on billable work.

Set up the Clio integration
Clio Manage under Settings › Integrations.
In MinuteBox, go to Settings › Integrations and connect your Clio Manage account. You only do this once and you can disconnect from the same screen at any time. The integration is available in English and French.
There is no cost for Clio customers to add the integration. A separate Clio account is required and is not included.
