Simply complete the registration form and submit it. To view tips and additional information, hover your arrow to the "?" icon. Once your application is successfully submitted, you will see a confirmation message.
Next, check your e-mail inbox for your confirmation e-mail and verification link from MinuteBox. Once you verify the account, you are a registered MinuteBox member. You will be able to use all the functions on MinuteBox as an MBuyer. If you also want to register as an MSeller, please check Register as an MSeller for details.
Give your request a descriptive name. (It is best to use a name which expresses what kind of service you require).
Choose a relevant category for your request in the category menu.
Describe your request in detail, so sellers can know more about what kind of service or help you need from the session.
Write down what kind of skills or experiences are required to be a qualified MSeller for this session.
You can choose how you would like to receive the service. If you choose "Chat", please also choose which form of chat you want for the session (Audio Chat is recommended, as Video chat requires higher bandwidth).
If you choose Chat, you will see the Duration of Request window. Complete the expected duration of the chat session. It does not have to be precise. It just gives MSellers a rough idea how long the chat session will be. Next, enter your available time slots. We suggest you to add more time slots so MSellers have more flexibility to choose the time according to your availability.
If you choose "Work by E-mail" as the means to receive your service, then the Request Deliverables window will appear. Enter what deliverables you expect from the e-mail. Now enter, the deadline.
Next, set the maximum price for the bid. MSellers can not bid higher than the price limit you set.
Next, you may specify the duration of the bidding process.
Go to the Buying Activity section in My MinuteBox. You can see the request you posted. You can also click the request name to find more information on the status of your request and even choose a suitable MSeller for the request.
When you click on the request, you will see all of the bids from MSellers interested in your request. You can see their pitches, their bidding price, and check their profiles to have a better understanding of their services and choose the right MSeller. On their profiles, you can check their previous rating and reviews to see what other buyers think of their services. There is no obligation to choose the cheapest bid; you should choose the most suitable bid for your request. Once you confirm the bid, the bidding process is done. You can then wait for the transaction.
If you find you still cannot make a decision, you can send messages to the bidders to get further information from them. Simply go to an MSeller's profile, where you will find a link to send them a message. MinuteBox will offer an "Invite to bid" function very soon. With this function, you will be able to browse MSeller profiles and invite them to bid.
If you need some advice or assistance immediately, you can use the Buy Now service to get instant service from MSellers.
Simple go to the service category relevant to the service you need to see relevant MSellers. If an MSeller providers a Buy Now service, you can see the Buy Me Now icon and the MSeller’s rate for the Buy Now service. You can then check his profile and decide whether his skills can help you or not. If you are certain you would like to use the Buy Now service, simple click the Buy Me Now button and then a instant chat session will be initiated.
If you do not want to spend time searching through MSeller’s profiles to find a Buy Now service, posting a Buy Now request will be a good alternative for you. On the front page, you can see the "Buy Time" button. Click it and you will see the pop up window as shown below. Simply click the “Buy Now Request” button and then the wizard will assist you to post a Buy Now request. MSellers will send you messages if they are interested in the request. You can then check their profile and click the "Buy Me Now" button in their profile to initiate the Buy Now session.
You can find the confirmed request in the Buying Activity section in My MinuteBox. You can initiate the chat session by clicking the "Waiting for Chat session" link. If you do not have enough credits for the chat, you must Top Up before the agreed transaction time or the chat will not be initiated. To find out how to Top Up, check the details in Payment.
Once your MSeller has joined the chat session too, you can then start the chat session.
When you are in the Chat session, the system will inform you once the seller has logged in. You can then start to chat with the seller.
If you request audio or video chat, please click on the red X icon to initiate your microphone or web cam. Once it is initiated, the red X will disappear.
Don’t worry. You are not charged until you start the timer. Please make sure that you are happy with the chat quality before you start the timer. Once you start the timer, you will be charged on a per minute basis. You can also clearly see how your credits are deducted, in real-time, at the top right of the window. You can pause the timer at any time.
If the quality is unstable, we suggest that you to press the red "Hang up" button. Click the button once again when it becomes green to re-initiate the chat.
You do not have to fulfill the full duration of the chat you completed on your request. If you feel the chat will the seller is not useful or you have got the solutions in the shorter time than you expected, you can stop the timer at any time and then terminate the chat.
When the chat session is completed, you can click the "Terminate the chat" button. The chat window will be closed. You can also check your credit status in the My MWallet page in My MinuteBox section. You could refund the unused credits or keep them for future use. Details are in Payment.
If your request is for Work by E-mail, the MSeller will submit his work before the agreed deadline. You can check the status of the request from Buying Activity in My MinuteBox section. The work will be sent to your MyMail. Please check the work and confirm the work is successfully submitted. If you have not got the right document, you can reply to the MSeller and ask him to submit the work again. If you are not happy with the quality of the work, you can leave MSeller bad feedback. However, you cannot refuse to confirm the work submission due to issues with the quality. Please make sure you check the work and respond as soon as possible. If you do not confirm the work 3 days after the agreed deadline, we will assume you have got the work and transfer the credits for this service from your MWallet to the seller's.
MWallet is the section for you to manage your credits and payment on MinuteBox. You can find the MWallet page in My MinuteBox.
Once your request is confirmed, the required credits will automatically be reserved from your account. If your account does not contain enough credits, you must Top Up before continuing. If you have insufficient credits for an online chat session, you will not be able to initiate the chat. If you have insufficient credits for a Work By E-mail session, the MSeller will not be able to submit the work to you until you top up with enough credits.
At present, Paypal is the only payment method we provide. We will offer you more payment methods in future. You can get more details from the Paypal website: www.paypal.co.uk.
Once a service session is completed, we will move the credits from your MWallet to the MSeller's. If you have any unused credits, you can refund the unused credits for free. Please click the Withdraw button in the MWallet page. You can submit the form to request a refund to your Paypal account.
Once you have finished the service session, please go to History to leave feedback. Your MSeller will leave feedback for you too. The rating and feedback system will be very good reference for other users in the MinuteBox community.
